We love all sorts of playlists that highlight your singular musical taste. Right now, we are looking for your favorite songs from 2011.
Creating A 2011 Playlist
Step 1: Create a new smart playlist in iTunes.
Step 2: Set the Year as 2011 and limit it to the 25 Most Often Played songs.
Step 3: Right-click on your new playlist and select Export. (Don’t worry, you’re only exporting a txt file, not music files.)
Step 4: When asked to save the file as (playlist name).txt, click OK.
Step 5: E-mail that .txt file to us (or an edited table in Word or Excel, but make sure you include the Song, Artist, Album and Playcount), along with a 25 word bio telling the other pods who you are (and any excuses or defenses of the songs that crept onto your list.) We’ll post all of that online along with your list.
